Transformation Takes Many Forms

Hello friends, I'm back to work! My office hours are on Tuesdays and Thursdays for now. Tuesdays are in Santa Ana and Thursdays are in Huntington Beach. If you're ready for a tune-up, send me a text or give me a call at the same old number.

In case you're curious, here's a little update on me.

After closing the brick and mortar location of Juvenation in December of 2021, I have been in transition since then.

We all have times in our lives where we find ourselves at a moment of decision, of change, and I took the leap. It didn't feel like I had a choice at the time. The art that many of you saw take form on the walls of the Juvenation office drew out of me new layers of healing that I required.

I took the art, along with my poetry, stories and song, to the stage and have continued my healing journey in a different way. As I perform, I tell my own healing story. As part of my story, I sing, making new art while lifting my voice, revealing parts of myself that have been hidden even to me.

What needed healing in me required my full focus, and for a time I did not feel capable of touching anyone.

I've realized that the one making the art is my inner child. She needed space to speak directly to me, in a pre-verbal way. She uses kindergarten methods, with torn paper and glue and paint applied with big arm strokes and pre-cognitive movements. She and I have been getting to know one another. I'm learning to make it safe for her to come back to life again.

So much has cleared within me. I feel like a breath of fresh air swept me clean and renewed life in me. And so, this healing artist is ready to offer healing touch again, for those who are ready to receive. I am excited to welcome you and am so grateful for the kind support and encouragement as I tended to my own healing for a time.
